The usual fix — adding another point solution — just adds another disconnected tool

The outcome

Connect every request. Create a clearer path to care

Eligibility in one system. Network status in another. Cost estimates somewhere else. Every handoff is a place accuracy erodes and manual work creeps back in

One shared data layer underneath every product — coverage, network, costs— so every request gets more accurate as the others run, instead of operating in isolation

FAQ

Does Sohar replace our clearinghouse?

No — Sohar connects with clearinghouses, often more than one per payer, and does the integration work to surface the most accurate coverage information from them. That's deliberate: rather than a thin layer sitting on top of existing data, Sohar is built from the ground up for accuracy — no shortcuts, no flashy add-ons standing in for real engineering. Connecting to multiple clearinghouses also means a client isn't fully dependent on a single one — relevant after the industry saw what a single point of failure can mean during outages like the 2024 Change Healthcare incident.

What's the difference between Sohar's products and Sohar's platform?

The products (Verification, Discovery, Network Status, Cost Estimate) are individual tools. The platform is the shared data layer underneath the whole product suite — meaning every product gets more accurate as the others run, instead of operating in isolation.

Can Sohar integrate with our existing systems?

Yes — the platform is built to embed into existing intake experiences and workflows via API, rather than requiring teams to work inside a separate system.

What is a data layer, and why does it matter for patient access?

A shared data layer means every product — Verification, Cost Estimate, coverage monitoring — draws from and contributes to the same underlying information, instead of each running as a disconnected request. That's what allows accuracy to improve over time rather than staying flat.
